Divination
I practice divination as a creative method of receiving knowledge and information that surpasses the linear / conscious mind and offers an invitation into spaces of liminality and magic as well as the misty realms of the unconscious.
Broadly speaking, divination is a method of collecting, consolidating, and making meaning of information that expresses itself in various shapes and forms, including symbols, archetypes, colors, and elements. To me, the practice of divination is a way of allowing Spirit to speak and a manner of opening communication to, and being in conversation with, the Animate Earth.
My methods are informed by what is being asked of me by a client as well as by the specific tool or method that I feel would be most supportive. I work with cards (oracle, tarot, and I am currently learning cartomancy / cardology as well as other divination tools that include black mirror, crystals, and more. I do not predict the future or tell fortunes and my readings are always collaborative and empowering.
Some clients come to me for guidance on a specific topic or question, and some request this practice on a more regular basis as a way to feel supported as they chart their course and navigate life.
